An Immersive Comedy Murder Mystery
Written by Elliot Thomas

Destitute lawyer Philippe Journeaux has fallen from grace and has no option but to auction off the contents of his home at 16 New Street. The auction attracts Journeaux’s vulturous circle of former ‘friends’ who leeched off his fortune, then jumped ship the moment it ran dry. As they gather to claw over his fortune, the bidding is cut short when a dead body is discovered, murdered in cold blood. Expect high wires and even higher stakes as you play detective and attempt to unmask the murderer, aided by dishevelled, wine-quaffing sleuth Baptise Boivin who is called in to investigate.

This whodunnit farce, performed in promenade throughout the renovated rooms of 16 New Street, uses the premise of a bankruptcy-auction to turn each of the house’s furnishings, paintings and artefacts into potential clues vital to cracking the case. The unscrupulous cast of wealthy suspects will take you under wing, guiding you through the ostentatious crime-scene. Perhaps you’ll spot a clue that detective Boivin missed, or perhaps you’ll be in the wrong place at the wrong time and end up on his list of suspects. Get your bidding paddles ready, and become immersed in this live auction turned murder mystery at 16 New Street.
